Authentic Matcha from Japan: Our Quality Promise
An exceptional matcha, straight from the producer to your cup
Unlike mass-produced matchas, our green teas are canned only 24 to 48 hours before being shipped to France, ensuring unmatched freshness and preserving all of matcha's natural antioxidants.
This artisanal approach, rooted in a family tradition passed down for over 150 years, makes all the difference. Each batch is imported in small quantities to maintain the exceptional quality you'll find in every cup, whether in a matcha latte or your culinary creations.
How to choose your Japanese matcha?
For beginners: Mei-san, gentle by nature
New to matcha? Mei-san (芽依, "young shoot") is your perfect introduction to the world of matcha. With no bitterness and soft, vegetal notes, this beginner-friendly matcha turns your first experience into a genuine love affair. Perfect for a creamy matcha latte or whisked the traditional way with a chasen, Mei-san eases you gently into your wellness routine.
For enthusiasts: Daichi-san, authentic intensity
Daichi-san (大地, "great earth") is for those who know what they want: a traditional Japanese matcha with real character. Its deeper, more intense vegetal flavor reveals the full complexity of this exceptional tea. Ideal for a tea ceremony or for anyone who appreciates bold, genuine flavors.
For cooking: Kaori-san, your culinary companion
Kaori-san (香, "fragrance") is your go-to for any matcha recipe. Whether you're baking a matcha cake, matcha cookies, a reinvented tiramisu, or blending your morning matcha smoothie, this green tea elevates your creations without overpowering the other flavors. Its balanced aromatic profile makes it the ultimate culinary matcha.
How to prepare your matcha the Japanese way?
The traditional method (Usucha)
- Sift 1–2g of matcha powder into your bowl.
- Add 60–80ml of water at 70–80°C (never boiling).
- Whisk vigorously in a "W" motion using your matcha whisk (chasen).
- Keep going until you get a fine, creamy foam.
The modern matcha latte
For a perfect homemade matcha latte, start by mixing your matcha with a small amount of hot water to form a smooth paste, then add your milk of choice (dairy, oat, almond, or coconut). Sweeten to taste with maple syrup or honey.
